Mount Vernon Nazarene University has announced the return of its in-person MBA program set to begin in August 2025. After years of offering online-only graduate programs, the university is reintroducing face-to-face classes on its main campus. The classes are scheduled for every Monday night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Dr. Eric Stetler, Vice President for Academic Affairs at MVNU, stated, “We’re thrilled to launch the MBA on our main campus this August.” He further explained, “This in-person offering reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of students who are eager to grow as leaders through face-to-face learning, community, and collaboration. We believe the energy and connection that come with in-person classes will create an unforgettable, transformative experience.”

The program is tailored for busy professionals, allowing them to balance their career advancement with personal commitments. Johnna Vanover, Vice President of University Marketing and GPS Enrollment, emphasized their eagerness to meet the demand for face-to-face learning, saying, “We’re so excited to offer this one-night-a-week MBA program to adults who are balancing work, life, and education.”

Courses begin with Ethical Leadership, followed by Organizational Behavior and Legal Issues. In January 2026, the curriculum includes Managerial Economics, Marketing Management, Global Business, and Managerial Accounting. The year concludes with Corporate Finance and Strategic Management. Subsequently, students can choose from seven online concentrations or pursue a face-to-face concentration in Organizational Management before completing the degree in March 2027.

Acknowledging the value of classroom learning, Dr. Stetler remarked, “While our online programs continue to thrive, we’ve heard from students and professionals who value the deeper engagement and real-time learning that happens in the classroom. Offering the MBA in person allows us to build stronger relationships, foster richer discussions, and provide a dynamic environment that prepares students to lead with confidence and clarity.”
