Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) is set to present a new art exhibit featuring the work of its senior graphic design students. The Schnormeier Gallery, located at 221 S. Main St. in Mount Vernon, Ohio, will display the exhibit titled "Synergy — Senior Graphic Design Exhibit" from April 14 to April 30.
The exhibit, titled "Synergy," highlights the work of nine graphic designers: Cora Andrews, Marhin Chismar, Sam Cook, Braden Forbes, Sam Henthorn, Elizabeth Long, Zach Lester, Melody Newsome, and Becky Young. Synergy aims to explore "the dynamic power of collaboration, where individual elements combine to create something greater than the sum of their parts."
A reception honoring the senior graphic designers will be held at the Schnormeier Gallery on Thursday, April 25, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Schnormeier Gallery is dedicated to diverse artistic expressions and is situated on the first floor of MVNU’s Buchwald Center. It is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. Viewing the exhibit is free and open to the public. For further information, the gallery can be contacted via email at artgallery@mvnu.edu.
