Mount Vernon High School has recognized 431 students for their academic achievements in the third quarter. These students have been placed on the Honor, Merit, and Achievement Rolls. The school acknowledged the support of parents and guardians in helping students reach this milestone.
"Congratulations to our 431 high school students for earning a place on the Honor, Merit, & Achievement Roll during the third nine weeks. Your dedication to academic excellence is commendable," said a release from Mount Vernon City Schools. "We appreciate the vital role played by parents and guardians in this achievement."
The announcement listed students from each grade who achieved these honors. Seniors on the Honor Roll include Daisy Abbott, Austin Anderson, and Tressel Bockover among others. Juniors such as Griffin Beach and Dillen Bittinger were also recognized for their academic performance.
Sophomores like Atambai Asilbekov and Addison Barber made it to the Honor Roll as well. Freshmen honorees include William Andrews and Carmella Barrett.
The Merit Roll features seniors like Natalie Boggs and Karma Carpenter, while juniors Renay Davidson and Natalie Dudgeon were acknowledged. Sophomores Gabrielle Beck and Allydia Bell were also included in this category.
Achievement Roll recognitions went to seniors Jayden Adams and Kaitlyn Alaimo, juniors Cole Brown and Ruben Cisneros, sophomores Logan Autherson and Victoria Bird, as well as freshmen Cuyler Anderson and Kyle Artus.
The school encourages all students to continue their hard work into the final grading period of the year.
