Guide leads exploration of wild edible plants in Ohio

Shawn Dailey invites interested participants to a "Wild Edibles Hike" on April 13, 2025. The hike will explore a variety of plants, including common dandelions, wild leeks, and stinging nettles. The event will take place on hilly terrain covering approximately 2.5 miles, with a wild-food tasting to follow. Participants are advised to bring a water bottle, suitable hiking footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and a sense of adventure. Registration is not required.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM EDT. Attendees are to meet at Franklin Miller Observatory, located at 19123 Gambier Rd., Mount Vernon, Ohio. Participation is free of charge.
