A guided hike is scheduled to take place at the Brown Family Environmental Center (BFEC) on March 29, 2025. Shane McGuire, BFEC's Land Manager, will lead participants through some of the oldest forested areas on the property. The hike will provide insights into how these areas have evolved over the past three decades.
The event marks a celebration of 30 years of change at BFEC. Participants are invited to meet at the Franklin Miller Observatory parking lot for this moderate hike, which includes some hills.
The event is free and open to the public. It will run from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM EDT. Those interested can contact Bonnie at (740) 427-5053 for more information.
