Dancer and choreographer Ashley Sanchez will lead a workshop titled "Water Dance Workshop," aimed at exploring the relationship between water and dance. The event encourages participants to understand how science and dance can engage in meaningful conversations through movement.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn short movement sequences and collaborate on creating new ones. The workshop is inclusive, welcoming individuals of all ages and abilities without requiring prior experience in dance or science. Attendees are advised to wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for physical activity.
The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM EDT at the Brown Family Environmental Center. Attendance is free of charge.
