Mount Vernon Nazarene University has inducted 16 students into the Ohio Delta chapter of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society for the 2024-2025 academic year. This honor society acknowledges the top 10% of juniors and seniors from various disciplines.
Membership in Alpha Chi is by invitation only, limited to traditional undergraduate students who are juniors or seniors, as well as non-traditional undergraduates in MVNU’s Graduate and Professional Studies programs. To qualify, students must have completed at least one year as a full-time student at MVNU, finished half of their graduation credits, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.85 or higher.
Alpha Chi is noted for its high standards and is part of the Association of College Honor Societies. It stands alongside Phi Kappa Phi as one of two ACHS societies focused on recognizing academic excellence among junior and senior students.
