North Fork Local Schools has officially opened registration for kindergarten students beginning in the fall. To be eligible for enrollment, children must be born on or before August 1, 2020.

Kindergarten screening will take place in March, with designated dates for each school: Newton students will be screened on March 13, while Utica students will have their screening on March 14.

To complete the enrollment, families must provide several important documents, including the child’s birth certificate, health and immunization records, and proof of residence. Acceptable residency documents include a lease, property tax statement, government mailing, bank statement, pay stub, or public utility bill. Additionally, parents or guardians must present a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID. Any custody, adoption, or foster placement documentation should also be submitted if applicable.
