The East Knox Bulldogs struggled offensively in a 45-35 loss to the Northmor Golden Knights on December 10 in girls basketball action.
Despite out rebounding Northmor 34-31, the Bulldogs were unable to find their shooting touch, finishing the game with a 24.3 percent field goal percentage. The poor shooting performance hampered their ability to mount a comeback after falling behind in the first half.
Reese Todd led the Bulldogs with 10 points, while Isabelle Bostic added 7 points and 10 rebounds. Malena Streby contributed 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals, showing her defensive presence throughout the game.
Although East Knox fought hard, they were unable to capitalize on their rebounding advantage, with Northmor’s strong defense and efficient offense sealing the victory.
The Bulldogs will look to regroup and improve their shooting as they prepare for their next contest.
