For 25 years, The Alpha and Georgia Houses have been ministering to those who suffer with addiction, prostitution, mental health illnesses, past trauma, and other recovery processes where the love of Christ is the foundation for long-term life changes.
There are currently three men's guest houses and three women's guest houses, with the newest women's guest house opening on Sunday, Dec. 1 in Mount Vernon.
The Alpha and Georgia Houses are faith-based holistic programs that encompass a structured living environment, self-sufficiency, individualized approach, a holistic 9 pillar program, vocational programs, and certified off-site counseling. The program has an 83% long-term success rate.
"Our program is designed for individuals who have lost control of their life because of an addiction or dependence to drugs and alcohol," said Jaremy Crouse, community relations coordinator, Fry Guest House. "Our program is an at-will program, meaning that you will get out of it what you put into it."
There is no charge for guests to reside in homes; they can stay for as long as they need as they embark on a journey of joy, happiness, peace, true love, and hope again.
"We partner with an incredible counseling agency where daily therapy takes place," said Crouse.
