Knox Community Hospital Joins Global Generosity Movement on Giving Tuesday

Health & Wellness

The Foundation for Knox Community Hospital Celebrates #GivingTuesday, joining millions around the world participating in the global generosity movement on December 3, 2024.

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 11 years, this idea has become a year-round global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. During Giving Tuesday, people can show their generosity in various ways—whether by helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes. Everyone has something to offer, and every act of generosity counts. Giving Tuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on December 3, 2024, and throughout the year.

At the Foundation for KCH, we continue to work toward a goal of raising $1 million to support an expanded, renovated Emergency Department. “Growing the ER for a Growing Community” has been going strong, and a matching grant fund through Ariel Foundation means that donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar until we reach $300,000. If you feel compelled to donate to the Foundation for KCH on Giving Tuesday, please go to https://shorturl.at/GlmlR or send a check to The Foundation for KCH, 1330 Coshocton Ave., Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
