The Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) men’s and women’s bowling teams placed in the Ohio Bowling Conference (OBC) Tournament 3 in Columbus on Saturday, Nov. 16.
The women’s team made history, setting a school record with a baker high game score of 224. The team placed 8th of 16 overall with a score of 3170.
Abigail Larkin led MVNU’s women, placing 42nd with a score of 678. Paige Hicks placed 46th, rolling a 631. Alayna Mack rounded out the top three, placing 77th with a 525.
The men placed 15th of 17 with a 3532 total.
James Blaney led the way for the men, placing 53rd with a score of 747. Kobe Green finished 56th with a total of 732. Jacob Burre placed 67th with a final score of 709 on the day for MVNU.
MVNU will travel to Fort Wayne, Indiana to compete in the first Crossroads League Tournament of the season on Friday, Dec. 6.
