Mark Weber, head football coach at Mount Vernon High School, has announced the opening of weightlifting training blocks for all student-athletes. These sessions are accessible to both male and female students and aim to improve strength, endurance, and athletic performance.

"We want our athletes to perform at their best, and building strength through proper weightlifting is a big part of that," said Coach Weber. "These blocks are a great chance for students to work on conditioning, form, and strength, which can help prevent injuries and boost performance."

The training sessions will be available multiple times throughout the week to accommodate various schedules. Coach Weber along with other athletic staff members will be present to offer guidance and ensure safe workout practices.

Students seeking more information about the lifting blocks and their schedules can reach out to Coach Weber or visit the athletic office located in the High School or Energy Fieldhouse.
