East Knox Bulldogs faced Cardington Lincoln | East Knox High School Football Facebook

The East Knox Bulldogs got a big win Sept. 20 against Cardington Lincoln 49-20. The win propelled EK to a 3-2 record on the season, while Cardington dropped to 2-3.

The first half was practically all East Knox as they scored 41 points, thus allowing Cardington to only put up 6.

Bulldogs star running back Blake Elliot scored all 5 of his touchdowns in the first half. Elliot finished the game with a whopping 304 yards rushing, to go alongside the 5 touchdowns.

EK quarterback Jaxon Lester really didn't have to pass the ball much in this game, with the way Elliot was running, but still mustered up 124 yards passing on 9 of 12 pass attempts.

Defense played a big part of this game for East Knox as they kept the Cardington offense searching for answers all night. Cardington Lincoln only mustered up a total of 28 yards passing, and 152 yards rushing on the ground.

The Bulldogs will look to continue their winning ways next week as they take on Mount Gilead who is 2-3 so far on the season.
