August Final Friday Concert set for Aug. 30

Downtown Mansfield, Inc. (DMI) will host the August Final Friday Concert at The Brickyard on Friday, Aug. 30.

The lineup features Steve & Sam, Ohio Express Yesterday & Today, and Emily Raff. Additionally, RCT (Richland County Transit) will offer free rides to and from the event.

There will also be six food trucks onsite for the day including Pancho Tacos, Deja Food, Bytchin Kitchen, Looney Lemon, Food Tour, and The Fry Guys. The food trucks will serve everything from savory street food to sweet treats, so there are options for everyone. 

The Final Friday Concert Series is free to attend and open to all ages. The music kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 10:30 p.m.

The Final Friday Concert series is held at The Carrousel Properties Brickyard Stage and is possible due to the following generous sponsors Ohio Eye Associates, Phoenix Brewing Company, Purdy Construction, Techniplas, and Spherion MidOhio. Secret City Tour 

Downtown Mansfield, Inc. (DMI) will hold the Secret City Tour on Saturday, Sept. 21, beginning at 9 a.m. Take a peek into some of Mansfield's most exquisite historic buildings and architectural gems on this self-guided tour.

Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased online or on the event day at 128 North Main Street. This is a self-guided tour and photography is welcome. Many of the buildings are currently undeveloped so participants should dress accordingly and be prepared to walk.

Downtown Mansfield, Inc. is also seeking volunteers for the Fall 2024 Secret City Tour. Volunteers will assist in marking tickets and guiding attendees, with shifts from 9 am to 11:30 am and 11:30 am to 2 pm. Participants should dress appropriately for walking or standing.
