Tickets for SonFest, Mount Vernon Nazarene University's annual outdoor Christian music festival, are available for purchase for the event on September 21. Ticket prices will increase on July 26.
According to an MVNU press release, Associate Director of Enrollment & Events Sarah Scott said, "SonFest is an amazing event for all ages. The day is filled with games, food and fun, plus music that will uplift and encourage. We invite everyone to campus to enjoy the beauty of MVNU, have fun, worship together and enjoy the day."
Bands will perform on two stages, including Rachael Lampa, Cochren & Co., Cold Streets, Monarchs to Oblivion, and SafeKept. The headliner will be announced later this summer.
The Grove on the MVNU campus at 800 Martinsburg Road in Mount Vernon hosts SonFest rain or shine. Gates open at noon. Music and activities are scheduled until 10 p.m.
Early bird discounted tickets are on sale through July 25. General admission tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children aged 4-10; groups of 10 or more are $20 per person. Prices increase on July 26 to $30 for adults and $15 for children aged 4-10, and $25 per individual for groups. Tickets purchased at the gate on September 21 will be $35. Sales are final.
