On 5/2/2024 a deputy was advised that there was an individual on public service that needed to report a fraud.

Complainant stated that her Chase credit card had been used to purchase items that she did not consent to.

Information was taken and a report was generated to document the incident. Nothing further at this time.

On May 2, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a possible rollover crash on Old Mansfield Rd at Crooked St. A citation was issued to the at fault driver and a report was completed for documentation and court.

On May 2, 2024 a complainant made a report of Fraud. Complainant advised Deputies that over the phone, scammers had her buy multiple gift cards in an attempt to steal the funds from the complainant.

On May 3, 2024 a Felony Probation Officer called dispatch and requested deputies to his location because he observed an individual whom was violating a condition of his bond. Deputies responded to the location and in an attempt to arrest the individual he fled on foot. Law Officials were able to apprehend the individual and he was transported to the Knox County Jail without further incident.

On 5/3/2024 A deputy and a Danville Police officer were dispatched to Apple Valley to make contact with a male who had an active warrant out of Knox County. The deputy and the Danville officer made contact with the male and he was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail. Nothing further at this time.

On May 3, 2024 a deputy observed a wanted subject walking down a side walk along Mount Vernon Avenue. The deputy made contact with the wanted subject and arrested her. The subject was transported to the Knox County Jail.

On 07 May, a Knox County Deputy was dispatched to a residence in reference to a missing juvenile. The Deputy spoke with the parent who reported the juvenile missing for three hours. The Deputy searched the area, the surrounding counties were notified, and a missing person report was filed.

On May 13, 2024 deputies were dispatched to a residence on Daffodil Drive, Howard, in reference to a 911 hang-up that was related to a possible domestic violence incident. Deputies arrived on scene and interviewed all parties. The suspect was arrested on domestic violence and disrupting public service charges.
