MVNU recognizes 587 students on the dean's list

Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) has acknowledged the academic achievements of 587 students by including them in the dean's list for the Fall 2023 semester.

According to an MVNU press release, students are selected for the dean's list based on their grade point average (GPA), with a requirement of 3.5 or above. This year, out of the total number of students named, 197 managed to achieve a perfect GPA of 4.0, while 390 students earned a GPA between 3.5 and 3.9.

The MVNU press release further revealed the names of Knox County students who made it to the dean's list. These include Allessia Dugan from Bladensburg; Gabriel Armstrong, Colton Baird, Allison Beekman, Alexander Hayden, Kevin Kadrich, Emma McCombs, Kelby Perry, and Taylor Scowden from Centerburg; Ryan Lucas, Jackson Mentzer, Hannah McCoy, Camie Newbold and Rachel Wilson from Danville; Alayna Aurand, Olivia Dudgeon, Alayna Ferrell, Emily Feeney, Lily Huffstutler, Sydney Sansom among others from Fredericktown; Zachary Ballenger and Ainsley Bonaudi from Gambier; Aidric Bocock and several others from Howard; and a long list of students from Mount Vernon including Cora Andrews and Nolan Belcher among others.

In Licking County too numerous students were recognized according to the MVNU press release. From Granville there were Ethan Adkins and Lydia Bolden among others; Lucas Harbaugh and Lillian Small from Heath; Adrianna Huff and Dominic Sprankle from Hebron; Rachael Hobbs and Corey McCarty among others from Johnstown; Hannah Edmonds from Lancaster; Grant Burkholder and Cassidy Fouty among others from Newark; Sommer Branham from Pataskala; Kristen Lewis from St. Louisville; and several students from Utica including Avan Dunn and Kathyrn Helphrey.

According to the MVNU press release, Coshocton County students who made it to the dean's list include Haley Eberhard from Coshocton; Ashley Mast, Megan Peck and Joci Totten from Walhonding; Kaden Arnold, Macey Haines and Allison Prouty from Warsaw.

The MVNU press release also listed Richland County students named to the dean's list. These include Adrik Dudgeon, Anna Dudgeon, Sarah Heininger among others from Bellville; Caleb Dettmer, Addeline Haring and Sadie Woodward from Butler; Claire Vallance from Lexington; Hannah Neff and Elisabeth Rollison from Lucas; Rachel Baughman, Ethan Byrom among others from Mansfield; Teyron Cantey from Ontario; Kalysta Barnd, Raegan Gurney, Mason Hendrickson from Shelby.

In Ashland County, according to the MVNU press release, MacKenzie Kauffman, Emily Ludwig and Hannah Miller were recognized from Ashland; Isaac Gessner and Jacob Gessnerl were named from Loudonville; Ariana Mitchell and Ethan Ross were acknowledged from Perrysville.

From Holmes County as per the MVNU press release, Kallie Regula was named to the dean's list from Baltic; Karley Halloran was recognized in Big Prairie; Alexander Adams and Rayne Adams were acknowledged in Glenmont among others.

The MVNU press release also listed Columbus student Meghan Moser on the dean's list. Other students named included Chorey Adison, Cailey Bubis among others in Delaware; Josiah Holloway and others in Galena; Camryn Cummings in Lewis Center among others.

Lastly, Morrow County students were also recognized according to the MVNU press release. These include Emily Driver, Allee Dutt among others from Cardington; Jacob Burre and others from Marengo; Hannah Crouse and several others from Mount Gilead.
