On January 10, 2024 at approximately 11:53 A.M., I responded to 26 Clinton Street for a reported fraud. 

This matter is under investigation.

On 1-10-2023 at 3:29 PM, I (Sgt. Myrda) responded to 105 West Vine Street , (Park National Bank) for a fraud/ theft call. 

I am currently trying to follow up with the suspect and victim.

On January 11th 2024 at 3:30 PM, units responded to a call regarding vandalism to a vehicle in the 1000 block of W Vine St.

On January 11, 2024 at 11:16 P.M., I advised dispatch that I would be out at Super 8 at 1000 Coshocton Avenue to investigate a complaint. I made contact with a female who had contraband in her possession. This report will be forwarded to The Knox County Prosecutor's Office for review.

On December 12th, 2023 at approximately 4:00 P.M. I spoke with an individual in the lobby of the Mount Vernon Police Department, in reference to a violation of a protection order. 

A report was taken and will be sent to the city's Law Director to be reviewed for criminal charges.

On Saturday, January 13, 2023, officers were dispatched to a business on Newark Rd. on a welfare check on a person lying in the snow in front of the business. The person was identified as John Lowe and was arrested ofr Disorderly Conduct intoxication with Persisting (ORC. 2917.11 B2 & E3a). John was transported to the jail without incident.

Domestic Violence

On January 13th, 2024, at approximately 4:20 PM, units were dispatched to the 500 block of East Gambier Street in reference to domestic violence. 

A female arrested and was transported to the Knox County Jail.
