Mount Vernon, OH — HNCO/Hospice of Knox County representative Kim Giffin receives donations in the amount of $5,656 from Mike Smith of the Colonial Moose Lodge #2555 of Mount Vernon.
For many years, Colonial City Moose Lodge #2555 has provided annual support to HNCO/Hospice of Knox County for its community bereavement programs and Camp Hope, a bereavement camp for children who have experienced loss. In 2023 alone, they have donated over $17,5000. Mike said, “We are glad to help the community!”
Kim Giffin, HNCO director of finance, said, “Thank you to Colonial Moose Lodge for your generous donations to help support HNCO and our bereavement programs. It is because of the generosity of Colonial Moose Lodge and other supporters that we can continue our mission and serve our communities.”
Hospice of Knox County, a member of Hospice of North Central Ohio (HNCO), has served thousands of families with compassionate end-of-life and palliative care, bereavement programs and services since 1983. Proud to be called “Your Hometown Hospice,” HNCO is headquartered at 1021 Dauch Dr. in Ashland. HNCO serves more than 200 patients daily in Ashland, Crawford, Huron, Knox, Morrow, and Richland counties who are living with chronic and terminal illnesses.
