Casimir Frank Warchal, age 93, of Westerville, OH, passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2023 in Westerville, OH.
He was born in Cleveland, OH. Frank graduated from East Technical High School, Cleveland, OH.
He proudly served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict mustering out as a Staff Sergeant.
Frank started his career as a warehouseman for Western Electric in Solon, OH. Over the years the company had many name changes and he retired after 40 years with Nokia. He was a proud member of
the Communications Workers of America serving as a union representative at Western Electric.
He was an active member of the Westerville Citizen Police Academy volunteering to work many events including Fourth Fridays, and Cops and Kids. He loved traveling with family and friends, cheering on the Browns, and laughing with his grandkids.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Francis Warchal, mother, Katherine (Dudek) Warchal, half-brother, Stephen Hybel and grandson Justin Warchal.
He is survived by wife of 71 years, Lillian (Madacsy) Warchal; brother, Arthur Warchal; children, Mary Kay (David) Forster, John (Abby) Warchal, Richard (Cathy) Warchal and Karen (David) Clark. Frank is also survived by his grandchildren Brian Forster, Sarah (Paul) Broer), Ash Warchal, Celeste (Cameron) Miller, Amy Warchal and Camille Clark.
The viewing was be Sunday October 8th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, OH. Mass of Christian Burial was be celebrated on Monday October 9th at 10:30 am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, OH. Interment was followed the service at Resurrection Cemetery, Worthington, OH.
