What to Watch

The Trojans beat a winless Mount Gilead squad 28-11 last week, which was highlighted by a three touchdown day for Isaiah Sule. Centerburg had 173 yards rushing, with Sule carrying the ball 10 times for 84 yards and two rushing touchdowns. He also caught a pair of passes for 94 yards and a touchdown.

Jesse Rings was a double threat with 193 yards passing, as well as 89 yards rushing.

The Trojans completely shut down the pass with -2 passing yards, and allowed 105 yards on the ground. Chris Marshall had nine tackles and is a player to watch out for. Rings also has a knack for picking off passes, as he has five interceptions. Daniel LeMaster is dependable kicking the ball, and if it is a tight game watch for him to be a difference maker with extra points and field goals.

Danville had a blowout win over Cardington-Lincoln, and has been dominant all season long. Walker Weckesser scored three touchdowns, with two in the air and another on the ground. He had 135 yards passing and 41 yards rushing. The team ran the ball by committee with Jacob Hackman leading with nine carries for 65 yards and a touchdown. Cole Delaughder can run the ball and catch passes, as he had 89 yards of total offense on the day and two rushing touchdowns.

Defensively Aidan Burke and Weckesser are ones to look out for, as they are excellent in stopping the run and the pass alike.
