Julia Partington continued a strong senior season setting up kills for Fredericktown (7-0, 3-0) on August 31, leading the Freddies to their seventh straight win to start the season over Danville (2-4, 1-3), who has lost four straight.

The Freddies came out on a mission with a lopsided 25-9 win over the Blue Devils to set the tone. Danville’s offense stepped up a bit in the second set, but the Freddies were too much and took a 25-18 win. The Freddies were on top of their game in the final frame, nearly blanking the Blue Devils in a 25-1 win to clinch the match.

Partington recorded 28 assists out of the team’s 30 total kills to go with six digs. She was mostly setting up Jillian Bouton and Mya Bryant, who had 11 and 10 kills respectively. Cally Carpenter was dominant serving with eight aces, to go along with four digs. Anna Taylor had a team high seven digs in the match.
