Knox County motorists should expect delays on State Route 3 as the Ohio Department of Transportation plans guardrail upgrades beginning Monday, July 17.
The guardrail upgrade and replacement project will begin at Mount Vernon corporate limits and extend to the county line.
Beginning July 17, motorists can expect signalized or flagged lane closure on SR 3 between Mount Vernon to the county line. Work will start on the north end of the county.
All work is weather permitting.
The project's end date is estimated as Oct. 31.
In an ongoing project, motorists can expect lane closures with flaggers on U.S. 36 between U.S. 62 and the Coshocton County line for resurfacing.
