HOLMESVILLE – Mark Belcher, 69, of Holmesville passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at his home following a brief illness.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, at Alexander Funeral Home with Roger Marra officiating. A cremation has taken place. Mark was born May 16, 1953, in Mount Vernon and was the son of Herman "Doc" and Jean (Vernon) Belcher. On Feb. 14, 1981, he married Jane Grimm. She preceded him in death on Dec. 21, 2014.

Mark worked 27 years at the OARDC in Wooster, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed fishing, sprint cars, horses and loved everything BUCKEYES.

He is survived by three children: Jennifer (David) Dial of Mount Vernon, Brendan (Abby) Belcher of Funk and Julia Belcher of Holmesville; five grandchildren: Starlyn, Aaliyah, Austin, Declan and Dahlia; and his beloved dog, Bentley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe Belcher; sister, Becky VanRiper; and his wife, Jane.
