MOUNT VERNON — Food for the Hungry's 2022 drive season is officially over and the numbers are in.

"I am happy to share that we have an incredible final total for the Food for the Hungry drive season," Olivia Greenish Stern, marketing director for Food for the Hungry, Knox County, shared with the News. "Our final total is $353,367.86 and 20.7 truckloads of food."

The total is up by 0.7 truckloads of food and more than $30,000 since last reported in our Dec. 21 edition.
