FREDERICKTOWN – David L. Dalrymple, 82, of Fredericktown passed away at Country Court on Dec. 11, 2022. He was born on October 26, 1940, to Lawrence and Mary (McClelland) Dalrymple in Mount Vernon.
David graduated from the College of Wooster in 1962, then went on to get his Doctorate at MIT. He was an author of textbooks. David was a computer programmer and professor at The University of Delaware for a short time. David worked most of his career for the Nicolet Corporation. He earned the Nicolet Fellowship Award in 1982 and holds a 2007 patent through ThermoFisher Scientific in Madison, WI. He was a member of the Wayne Grange and was a former president of the Fredericktown, OH Alumni Association.
He is survived by his brother Dick Dalrymple of Fredericktown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions can be made in David’s memory to the Alumni Association of Fredericktown High School Scholarship Fund.
It was David’s request to have no public services. The Snyder Funeral Home is handling the arrangement for the family.
