MOUNT VERNON – Bernard “Mac” Carlton Carrier, 83, of Mount Vernon went to be with the Lord on Nov. 8, 2022, at his home, in Mount Vernon.
Mac was born August 13, 1939, in Penacook, N.H., to Jack Elzear and Lucille {Tyger} Carrier. Mac married Linda (Mills) on May 15, 1980.
He was employed by Chattanooga Glass Co. and Sanoh America Inc. up until he was 70 years old. He loved to drink coffee and talk to friends.
Mac will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda; daughters Lita (Jeff) Mowery of Tennessee and Rachel (Gary) Stone of Danville; son Max Carrier of Brinkhaven; grandchildren Mark (Madalyn) Mowery, Amanda Mowery, Matthew Mowery, Erin (Tim) Postle, Hollie (Nick) Hawk and Luke Stone; great-grandchildren Elliana, Maddox, Jonathan, Jenna, Madelyn, Emma, Lauren, Garrett and Alena; brothers Jack (Nadine) and Chuck (Bev) Carrier; and sister Carla (Chris) Finnegan.
Mac was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard and Bobby. A memorial service will be held later.
