MOUNT VERNON – Ralph Milton Stettler, 89, of Mount Vernon died Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at Country Club Center in Mount Vernon.

Ralph was born Feb. 24, 1933, in Waltz, Michigan, to Everett and Jennie (Roberts) Stettler.

He drove for Yellow Freight and retired from there. He had been a member of the Church of Chapel Hill, he enjoyed rebuilding old lawn mowers, working on older cars and he loved to square dance. He was a member of the Mount Vernon Colonial City Moose Lodge.

Ralph is survived by his children, Winona Kucharski, Ron Stettler and Elizabeth Cook; grandchildren, Tolbin, Tehya, Torey, Telise and Trevor; and great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Adrianna, Alexander and Emma.

He will be missed dearly by his friends and caretakers Craig and Donna Maloney.

Ralph was preceded in death by his siblings; Marlin Green, Beulah Thomason, Leo Stettler and Elmer Stettler.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
