Legal Notice
Sealed bids will be received by the Knox County Career Center Board of Education (“Board”), as provided in this notice for the Knox County Career Center HVAC Improvements Project (the “Project”). Contract documents, which include additional details of the Project, are available from Jeanell Branstool, Superintendent’s Office at jbranstool@knoxcc.org.
Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Knox County Career Center, ATTN: Kathrine Greenich, Superintendent, 306 Martinsburg Road Mount Vernon, OH 43050, and plainly marked on the outside "KNOX COUNTY CAREER CENTER HVAC IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
BID." Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m., local time, August 29, 2022.
Questions regarding plans and specifications should be addressed in writing to Jeanell Branstool, Superintendent’s Office at jbranstool@knoxcc.org. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates apply. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility.
A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held at 1:00 pm on August 22, 2022, at the Knox County Career Center located at 1481 Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. It is highly recommended that the bidders attend the pre-bid conference.
