NOTICE OF FORFEITURE
Notice of Intent to Cancel Oil and Gas Lease Under Ohio Revised Code Section 5301.332 Notice to Ross Riggs and his successors or assigns: Pursuant to Section 5301.332 of the Ohio Revised Code, you are hereby given notice that the oil and gas lease dated October 12, 1961, by and between Clarence and Lydia Rose (as lessors) and Ross Riggs (as lessee), recorded June 23, 1962, in Volume 52, Page 698 of the Knox County, Ohio Recorder’s lease records (the “Lease”), concerning certain real property in Hilliar Township, Knox County, Ohio, comprising approximately 210 acres, more or less (the “Leased Premises”), of which approximately 85.407 acres (the “Property”) are now owned by Thistlegate 16 LLC, an Ohio limited liability company (the “Company”), is subject to forfeiture for the following reasons: (i) the 5 year term of the Lease has expired; (ii) there are no producing or drilling oil or gas wells on the Leased Premises; (iii) no operations in search of oil or gas have been conducted on the Leased Premises; and (iv) the Company has not received consideration required to maintain the Lease in force. If you do not have the Lease released of record within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this Notice, the Company intends to file an Affidavit of Forfeiture with the Knox County, Ohio Recorder, pursuant to R.C. 5301.332.
