Camp Fighting Scot, a basketball camp, is offering two summer sessions for boys entering grades 4-12 and one session for girls in grades 4-12. Camp Fighting Scot is held on the College of Wooster campus in Wooster, Ohio, about an hour from Mount Vernon.

This is the 52nd year of Camp Fighting Scot, which was the first basketball camp of its kind in Ohio. It is still considered by many among the top instruction camps in the state. The staff has guided the College of Wooster men’s basketball program to status as “the most successful NCAA men’s basketball team since 2000.”

The camp has openings for overnight or commuter campers. Its three summer sessions are boys No. 1, July 10-13; boys No. 2, July 17-20; and girls, July 17-20. The camp's prices are $450 (residents), $350 (commuter). Online registration can be completed at CampFightingScot.com.

Additionally, high school varsity and junior varsity teams can take part in shootouts this summer at Wooster, with four dates to pick from (June 10, June 18, June 24, June 30). Each team is guaranteed a minimum of four games. Cost is $275.00 per team, or $250.00 per team if you register more than one.
