The 2025 Fighting Jackets football team is initiating its season with an online fundraising campaign. The effort aims to provide athletes with necessary equipment and support.
Supporters are encouraged to contribute through the team's official campaign site at https://app.schoolfundr.org/fund/mountvernon-football-2025, where each player has a personalized link to facilitate spreading the word. "Fundraising is a critical part of our program’s success," the team said. "Your support helps us create the best possible environment for our athletes."
According to the team, funds raised will be allocated directly toward essential needs, including new helmets and shoulder pads featuring advanced technology and data tracking, meals and hydration during the season, and practice jerseys for the middle school program.
All proceeds—minus standard processing fees—are directed straight to the team, facilitated by Schoolfundr's platform. Supporters can also assist by sharing the fundraiser via email and social media. Every contribution aids in preparing the Jackets for a safe, strong, and successful 2025 season.
