The Kokosing Valley Community Tennis Association is beginning to accept registration for summer tennis lessons, Steve Tier, tennis director of the City of Mount Vernon, said.
All Knox County, Clear Fork and North Fork school districts’ students are welcome. The lessons will be at Mount Vernon’s Memorial Park’s tennis courts.

Lessons for three age groups will be offered. The age groups are determined by the grade that a player will be attending starting next August. The age groups are kindergarten - third grade, fourth and fifth grade, and sixth through 11th grade.
Instruction will begin June 8. The lessons will be offered on Wednesday mornings for six weeks. The first day of the lessons will be June 8. The lessons will be offered at 9 a.m. for K-3, 10 a.m. for grades 4 and 5, and 11 a.m. for grades 6-9.
