MOUNT VERNON – Charles and Roberta (Chadwick) McNeil were united in marriage April 26, 1953, in Mount Vernon at the First Congregational Church.

Lifelong residents of Mount Vernon, they raised their four children, Charles Jr. (Pam) McNeil, John (Anita) McNeil, Jennifer (Kevin) Kidwell and Don (Jennifer) McNeil.

They were blessed with 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Charles retired from Columbia Gas after 26 years of service, and Roberta was a full-time homemaker, excellent cook, seamstress and caregiver.

They now reside in Mount Vernon Country Club Retirement Center Apartments.

The children and grandchildren wish to congratulate them on 69 years of marriage and to thank them for all the love and guidance.

We are very blessed to have them.
