Richard Heffelfinger and Frances Wise were united in marriage February 14, 1959, by Father Robert Manning of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Mount Vernon. 

They have been blessed with three children, Gary Heffelfinger, Gina Bertiaux and Lisa Awwiller, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Mr. Heffelfinger worked at Cooper Energy Services for 34 years and retired from Kelsey-Hayes. Mrs. Heffelfinger is a former employee of Ohio Power Company and Kmart. 

They celebrated their 65th anniversary with a dinner on Sunday with family and friends.
