DELAWARE – On Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, Josef Hutchinson, loving son, passed away at the age of 25.

Josef was born on Nov. 19, 1996, in Columbus to Cheryl Hutchinson and Abdelrahim Sadi. He graduated from Hayes High School in 2015 and was studying psychology at Southern New Hampshire University. 

Josef was creative and created amazing artwork, music, short stories and poetry. He had a passion for chess and had dreams of becoming a Grandmaster. He loved to discuss politics and philosophy on long drives with a Starbucks coffee in hand. He loved spending time with his best friends, Ian Johnson and Gage Ramsey, who were like brothers to him. He was known for his high energy, quick wit and adventurous spirit. 

Josef was preceded in death by his grandparents and is survived by his mother and father and numerous cousins. 

In remembrance of Josef, we will hold calling hours and a sendoff for him from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, at Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. off West William St. in Delaware. Please join us as we celebrate the life of this extraordinary person.
