MOUNT VERNON – Rhonda Lou Legros, 73, of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Mount Vernon on May 28, 1948, to the late William and Alberta (VanRhoden) Rohler.
Rhonda was a homemaker and raised two sons. She loved spending time outdoors with her animals and mother nature.
Rhonda is survived by her sons, James D. (Nicole) Monahan II and Jeff Monahan; three grandchildren, Auston Monahan of Loudonville and Nicholas and Darrin Monahan of Mount Vernon; and a brother, William (Bud) Rohler of Mount Vernon.
Along with her parents, Rhonda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James R. (Jimmy) Legros of Mount Vernon; and brother, Jack Rohler of Mount Vernon. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers and cards, please make a donation to your local animal shelter.
