In the first minutes of the fourth quarter, the Ladies hit three three-pointers to cut the Lion lead down to five. As the clock approached three minutes to go, Orefice converted a layup to bring the game within two. Mount St. Joseph continued to hold onto the lead as the game went under a minute remaining. A Ladies’ turnover allowed the Lions to draw fouls to close out the game, making three of their four free throws. In the fourth, Kenyon held Mount St. Joseph to an 18.8% field shooting percentage while shooting 53.3% themselves, outscoring the Lions 20-10 in the final quarter.
