MOUNT VERNON – Beverly A. Evans, 87, of Mount Vernon passed away on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at Country Club Nursing Home.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1934, in Brinkhaven to the late John and Naomi (Mowery) Baugher.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Gene P. Evans; daughters, Kimberly Piar and Amy Jo Snell, both of Mount Vernon; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Frazier of Fredericktown.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and Robert Baugher; and a sister, Nancy Wears.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 21, from 10 - 11 a.m. at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital City Hospice.
