Fredericktown Local Schools is introducing a new member to its kindergarten team this academic year: Mollie Pentz.
Pentz, who is embarking on her first year as a teacher, expressed enthusiasm about starting her career in Fredericktown. She chose the district after receiving consistent commendations from colleagues, students, families, and community members. According to Pentz, the district's commitment to continuous improvement and dedication to student success aligns with her own educational philosophy.
"I wanted to start my teaching journey in a place where students are supported and encouraged to reach their full potential," Pentz said. "Fredericktown offers exactly that."
Pentz hails from a close-knit family that includes her parents, Ryan and Lee Anne, and her older sister, Megan. Outside of teaching, she has a passion for athletics and wellness. She played softball from the age of five through college and now enjoys staying active at CrossFit 1808, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
District leaders anticipate the positive influence Pentz will have on the kindergarten program. "We’re excited to see the impact she will have on our youngest learners," Fredericktown Local Schools said.
