After retirement, Virginia volunteered at a local hospice unit, hospital and Interchurch. She enjoyed taking care of her many flowers surrounding her home. She enjoyed quilting, making them for family members, Flying Horse Farm Camp and for Quilts for Kids. Embroidery was her passion in her later years, spending many hours making treasures for family members. She looked forward to her Friday afternoon game day with her friends.
