MOUNT VERNON – Benjamin Lee Stultz, 68, of Mount Vernon passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, at his residence. He was born on April 4, 1953, in Mount Vernon, the son of Floyd and Gretchen (Adams) Stultz.
Ben was a 1971 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University. Ben worked and retired from the Mount Vernon News after 30-plus years of employment and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by two brothers, Thomas (Lois) Stultz of Cincinnati and John (Patty) Stultz of Athens; and two nieces, Megan Stultz and Heather Parr.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, F. Alan Stultz.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 106 N. Gay Street, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. Pastor Ross Slaughter will be officiating. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Benjamin Lee Stultz.
