WALHONDING – Rhett Leo Morningstar, 3, of Walhonding passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 11, 2018, in Zanesville.
Rhett loved to cuddle, take tractor rides with his Bappy and was a light in the lives of all who knew him.
Rhett is survived by his mom and dad, Jacob and Josie (Rine) Morningstar; a sister, Adleigh Morningstar; maternal grandparents, Scott and Katrina Rine; paternal grandparents, Jennifer and Lester Morningstar; great-grandparents, Ed and Linda Rine, Phyllis Modesitt, Twila Freeman and Peggy Frazee; uncles, Adam Rine, Johnny and Jeremey Morningstar; aunts, Lindsey Rine, Maddie Rine and Lydia Morningstar; numerous extended family; friends; and a special nurse and caregiver to Rhett, Cathy Summers..
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 3, from 4-7 p.m. at Bladensburg Church of Christ, where funeral services will be held on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bart Rine officiating. Burial will follow in Bladensburg Cemetery.
