GRANVILLE – Nelson “Andy” Riedel II, 51, of Granville passed away at his home. He was born on July 16, 1970, in Columbus to Nelson and Phyllis Marianne (Stiner) Riedel
Andy graduated from Granville High School in 1988 and continued his education at COTC, earning an AAS in electronic engineering technology degree, and Mount Vernon Nazarene University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He attended the Zion Lutheran Church near Danville with his parents. His passion was the development of computer controlled systems. Andy enjoyed gardening and the great outdoors, but his greatest love was his canine companions.
In addition to his parents, Nelson and Marianne of Howard, Andy is survived by his sister, Kimberly Riedel of Kenosha, Wis.
A funeral service will beheld at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, at the Zion Lutheran Church, 20177 Wooster Road, Danville, with the Rev. Howard Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
