ONTARIO – Helen F. Hoskey, 105, of Ontario, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at Ontario Estates in Ontario. She was born on June 7, 1916, in Condit, the daughter of John and Lottie (Day) DeWitt.
Helen worked as a secretary for Lennox Furnace and Union Service for a combined 16 years. She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Jelloway. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Marla Jean (Don) Wirt of Hurst, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hoskey Sr.; and two sons, Allen Hoskey and Robert Hoskey Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20, beginning at noon at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050, where friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Gambier.
