MOUNT VERNON – Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Diehl, 69, of Mount Vernon passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at Doctors Hospital in Columbus.

He was born on Aug. 25, 1952, in Mount Vernon to the late Clyde “Skip” and Eileen (Harmon) Diehl. Jeff was employed and retired from Siemens Corp. with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing horseshoes. He was an avid Cleveland Brown and Ohio State University football fan. But most of all, Jeff loved the time he spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of over 43 years, Angie (Page) Diehl; his daughter Janet (Stacey) Tharp; his son Jason (Davinia) Diehl; two grandchildren, Ashlee Tharp and Jimmy Diehl; his brother David (Patti) Diehl; his sisters, Linda (Dave) Doup, Carolyn (John) Conkle, Marilyn (Ed) Miletic and Mary (Tim O’Roark) Richard; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his canine companion Chico.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brother Larry Diehl.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will follow, beginning at 1 p.m., with Mr. Frank Biffath officiating. Burial will take place in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
