MOUNT VERNON – Gary L. Allerding, 71, of Mount Vernon passed away on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. He was born on Nov. 11, 1949, in Mount Vernon, the son of John and Helen (Reagh) Allerding.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 29, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 where friends may call from noon until the time of service. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions in Gary’s name may be made to the Knox County Animal Shelter.
