LEWIS CENTER – On Oct. 10, 2021, Helen Wright Dennehy, 95, of Lewis Center went to be with the Lord.
Preceded in death by loving husband Gene Dennehy, Helen is survived by sister Ruth Wright Sapp of Westerville; nephew Mike (Kim) Sapp; children Ryan, Emily and Evan, all of Tennessee; and nephew Tom (Leslie) Sapp and daughter Anastasia of Powell; cousin Margaret Clark of Bellevue; and stepchildren Robyn, Andy, Michael, Molly, Ellen, Peter and Owen.
Helen was born in Mount Vernon in 1926 to Earl and Mildred Wright and graduated from Mount Vernon High School and subsequently Ohio State University with a degree in education. She taught at various elementary schools throughout Ohio, ending her career in Grandview. She had many lifelong hobbies, and her traveling took her and husband Gene all around the world.
A Memorial Service will be held at The Crossing Community Church, 4770 Britton Pkwy, Hilliard, OH 43026, on Oct. 30 at 11 a.m.
