MOUNT VERNON – Michelle M. Jacquet, 49, of Mount Vernon passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on Aug. 13, 1972, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Frederick and Carolyn (Midos) Jacquet.
Michelle was a 1990 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and previously worked at Whispering Hills Care Center. She has been employed the last 19 years working for Kenyon College food service. Michelle liked her trips to the casino and enjoyed playing Bingo with family and friends.
She is survived by her mother; a daughter, Deanna Jacquet of Mount Vernon; a son, Zach Huggins of Mount Vernon; and a brother, Michael (Michele) Jacquet of Howard.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 28, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon, where friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Rev. Mark Wildermuth will be officiating. The family will observe a private burial.
